Common problems

  • The pasted URL is not a Spotify track link.
  • The track page cannot be reached from your network or browser.
  • Temporary upstream issues prevent the audio stream from being prepared.
  • A browser extension, privacy tool, or firewall interrupts the request.

Quick fixes

  • Copy the URL again directly from Spotify Share options.
  • Make sure the link contains `/track/` and opens publicly in your browser.
  • Retry after disabling aggressive ad blockers or privacy filters for the site.
  • Refresh the page if you see a CSRF or token mismatch error.

The current tool flow supports public Spotify track URLs. Album, playlist, artist, and podcast links are not part of the present download path.

Metadata retrieval and file preparation are separate steps. A track can still fail later if the upstream download source is unavailable, rate limited, or returns a non-audio response.
